The #1 Northern Division has approximately 50 members throughout Manitoba, most of whom live in Winnipeg. We have had six members who have earned the prestigious title of MMR (Master Model Railroader) throughout the years. They are Jock Oliphant (MMR 15), Stafford Swain (MMR 98), Moe Smith (MMR 100), Arnie Walker (MMR 225) and Fred Headon (MMR 328). Pictured above is the late Stafford Swain, MMR, in front of his Whiteshell Subdivision layout, which was the subject of various magazine articles too numerous to mention. We are extremely proud to announce that our own Ron Einarson has joined this small but prestigious group in 2017. He is MMR 593. Congratulations, Ron!
