The No. 1 Northern Free-Mo Group set up their modular layout at the Winnipeg Model Railroad Clubs 2024 Annual open house. The event was held on April 20 and 21 at the Charleswood Legion. This year's display, designed by No. 1 Northern Division superintendent Ian Plett, was the largest layout displayed at the open house.

 

This year's Free-Mo Group display was significant as it marked the first year that the WMRC had become 100% NMRA and became part of the No. 1 Northern Division.
