​Animated Cartoons

I've produced, directed and animated three cartoons: Silence of the Clams (1994), Love Means Never Asking You to Shave Your Legs (1996), and The Bicycle Lesson (2008). These cartoons are distributed by the Winnipeg Film Group. Funding was provided by the Winnipeg Film Group, the Manitoba Arts Council, the Winnipeg Arts Council, the Manitoba Society of Independent Animators and the National Film Board of Canada. 

 

Silence of the Clams won the Manitoba Motion Picture Industry Association's Blizzard Award for best animated short in 1995. It also won an award at the Canadian International Annual Film and Video Festival in 1999. Love Means Never Asking You to Shave Your Legs won the best independent animation award and third best overall independent entry at the 2000 Canadian International Annual Film and Video Awards. was nominated for a Blizzard award in 1997. The Bicycle Lesson won the award of excellence at the 2010 Canada International Film Festival. You may view these cartoons on Vimeo:
